Inspired by the spirit of discovery and adventure presented in chasing the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights, Bremont and Bamford Watch Dept. introduce a luminescent limited edition Supermarine GMT, a sequel to the 2022 hit collab, once again imbued with each brand’s distinct DNA.

Once again, this stealthy collaborative edition is built around Bremont's 43mm stainless steel, DLC-coated Trip-Tick Supermarine S500 case and fitted with a luminous California sandwich dial design, but this time, a GMT complication is added to the mix, and completed with a bi-colored & polished 24-hour sapphire bezel for day and night indication. Inspired by the Aurora, the layered dial is comprised of a solid disc of luminous material which is covered with a plate with index apertures to expose the Super-LumiNova® as characters. This layered design achieves incredible performance in visibility and adds a lovely depth to the dial. The dial is further enhanced with matte black hour and minute hands filled with green Super-LumiNova®, a matt black and gloss green GMT hand filled with green Super-LumiNova® and a gloss green centre second hand.

Turning the watch over reveals a DLC-coated decorated caseback and the strap is finished in black nubuck leather with green stitching and DLC-coated pin buckle to match. The resulting timepiece reflects both British brands’ distinctive design ethos and brand culture, presenting a unique twist on Bremont’s signature Supermarine S502.

Fittingly, 2024 is set to bring the best opportunity to experience the Aurora in over 20 years, due to the solar maximum where the sun reaches the peak of its 11-year cycle and enables the Northern Lights to be their most visible.
